Manuscript Title: Numerical evaluation of harmonic polylogarithms.
Authors: T. Gehrmann, E. Remiddi
Program title: hplog version 1.0
Catalogue identifier: ADPG_v1_0
Distribution format: gz
Journal reference: Comput. Phys. Commun. 141(2001)296
Programming language: Fortran.
Computer: Pentium III/600 MHz PC.
Operating system: Linux.
RAM: 516K words
Keywords: Harmonic polylogarithms, Feynman integrals, General purpose, Function.
Classification: 4.7.

Nature of problem:
Numerical evaluation of the harmonic polylogarithms up to weight 4 for arbitrary real argument. These functions are emerging in Feynman graph integrals involving more than one mass scale.

Solution method:
For small values of the argument: series representation; other values of the argument: transformation formulae.

Restrictions:
Limited up to HPL of weight 4, the algorithms used here can be extended to higher weights without modification.

Running time:
On average 0.3 ms for the evaluation of all harmonic polylogarithms up to weight 4 on a Pentium III/600 MHz Linux PC.
