Nature of problem:
Multiphoton ionization of H2+ in intense (up to 10**14W cm**-2) laser fields over a range of internuclear distances and laser frequencies; DC field ionization of H2+ for comparable (and higher) field strengths.

Solution method:
Floquet theory ([1,2] and references) and basis set expansion of the wavefunction to form a complex-symmetric generalized eigenproblem.

Unusual features:
The program uses the publicly available libraries ARPACK [3] and LAPACK; the program uses the NAG library (mark 17); an option is provided for the IBM ESSL library.

Running time:
The test runs for h2pacflo take up to 30 s for the calculation of quasienergies for each frequency, intensity and internuclear distance; the test runs for h2pinit take 2-10 s.
