Nature of problem:
This problem calculates the kinetic parameters (rate constant and transfer coefficient) of a simple electrode reaction from alternating current measurements.

Solution method:
Randles' method and Sluyter's method are used for the calculation of the exchange current density. The method of Biegler and Laitinen is then used to calculate the rate constant and the transfer coefficient of the simple electrode reaction.

Running time:
On the IBM-1130 machine, one run takes about 20 min.
