Nature of problem:Prompt and isomeric fission probabilities are calculated for even-even nuclei in subbarrier region. | ||

Solution method:The fission probability has been calculated assuming a double-humped fission barrier. The damping of the vibrational states in the second minimum has been treated by means of an imaginary potential. The penetrability through the barrier has been calculated in JWKB approximation. | ||

Restrictions:The only competitive process in the first well is gamma-decay. The maximum number of vibrational states considered is 6 and the maximum value of spin is 10. Only discrete fission channels are considered. | ||
