Nature of problem:
The prolate angular spheroidal wave functions are required in problems concerning the angular aspects of the solution of the Schrodinger equation in a two centre frame. The package PASWFN contains six subprograms which compute these functions of the first kind (the functions of the second kind are of minor physical interest) for any argument and accuracy.

Solution method:
The prolate angular spheroidal wave function Sml(c,eta) are calculated as series of associated Legendre functions of the first kind. The coefficients are calculated separately, for given values of m,l,c and are stored to be used in subsequent computations of Sml(c,eta) for different values of eta.

21 s for the test run.
