Nature of problem:
Differential equations of the form psi''(x) + (lambda-V(x))psi(x)=0, x in range (a,b) with boundary conditions psi(a)=psi(b)=0 are solved. The main purpose of this paper is to present a perturbative procedure for the calculations of approximate eigenvalues of the Schroedinger equation.

Solution method:
The differential equation is solved by the method described in [1] and summarized in the long write-up.

Unusual features:
The steplengths used in solving the differential equation are automatically adjusted by the program in accordance with the accuracy conditions supplied by the user.
