Nature of problem:
Complex optimization problems that cannot be solved efficiently via a single algorithm and they rather need to be tackled by a multi-algorithm strategy.
This special purpose language is built to allow the user to devise successful and efficient strategies based on diverse algorithmic approaches, in a systematic and orderly manner, using the MERLIN optimization environment .
Must be installed using the MERLIN-3.0 (Cat. Id. AAXW_v3_0), installer program. The procedure is described in detail in the MERLIN User Manual.
Depending on the MCL program to be compiled. The test run took 1.66 sec on a Sun SPARCstation 5.
