Keywords: Nuclear physics, High spin state, Quasicontinnum Gamma ray, Theoretical methods, Activity detection.
Classification: 17.6, 17.16.

Nature of problem:
Simulation of gamma-ray spectra from evaporation residues of heavy-ion reactions, allowing for flexibility in modeling the nuclear structure at high spin and finite temperature.

Solution method:
A Monte Carlo code with a variety of options and a program structure that can be modified to include new options.

Restrictions:
The high-energy part of the total gamma-ray spectrum from heavy-ion reactions, E gamma > 5-10 MeV, does not come only from the evaporation residues and thus cannot be simulated.

Running time:
1.3 milliseconds CPU per gamma ray on VAX 11/785 with default input.
