Nature of problem:
Amplitudes for elastic and inelastic scattering of electrons by hydrogenic and alkali-like atomic systems are computed from reactance matrix elements, assumed to be punched on cards in a standard format.

Solution method:
Data are sorted and checked and the summations required are performed.

Restrictions:
Transitions from the ground state to up to 3 final states and up to 2 p- states can be handled. Coupling to atomic states with l>3 only is considered. Otherwise, dimensions may be altered to increase the scope of the program.

Unusual features:
Double length, 8 bytes per word is used for all non-integer variables.

Running time:
Compile time 15 seconds, execution of sample data 3 seconds.
