Nature of problem:
Program RKDP presents a set of subroutines for double precision calculations of the sensitive parts of computations of Slater Rk integrals with screened Z hydrogenic wave functions. Three of the wave functions in the integral must be discrete and the fourth one can be discrete, continuum, or expanded. This set of subroutines may be used in program SPSS (CPC 1 (1970) 265) for double precision calculations.

Solution method:
Analytic expressions for the wave functions, the Y**k function and the integrals are used. The closed form of the expression for the R**k integral is derived elsewhere. The derivation of the expanded form is given here. Values of the integrals computed with the closed and series expressions are compared.

Restrictions:
Space restrictions limit n1+n2+n3+l4< 25. Loss of significant figures limits the expansion of integrals approximately to those with n2<= 12.

Unusual features:
R**k integrals of hydrogenic wave functions with screened Z's can be checked by comparing results from two expressions.


Running time:
The typical running time for an individual R**k integral is several milliseconds. The time required depends upon the quantum numbers.
