Nature of problem:
The input of the large finite element matrix BLOCK DATA, given by Konrad and Silvester in Z-format, is accomplished on a computer which does not support Z-formatted data input.

Solution method:
The BLOCK DATA subprograms were re-generated in E-format by making use of modified version of the "Generator" programs given by Konard and Silvester. These E-formatted BLOCK DATA subprograms are now available for use in conjunction with the finite element program packages.
